Live The Kochi-Muziris Biennale

The Kochi-Muziris Biennale (KMB) is the first ever Biennale to be hosted in India. It is an international exhibition of contemporary art held in Kochi.

Indian and international artists exhibit artworks across a variety of mediums including film, installation, painting, sculpture, new media and performance art. Through the celebration of contemporary art from around the world, The Kochi-Muziris Biennale (KMB) seeks to invoke the historic cosmopolitan legacy of the modern metropolis of Kochi, and its mythical predecessor, the ancient port of Muziris.

Alongside the exhibition the Biennale offers a rich programme of talks, seminars, screenings, music, workshops and educational activities for school children and students.

KMB’16 will run for 108 days from December 12, 2016, to March 29, 2017, and will comprise the main art exhibition and an ancillary programme of talks, seminars, workshops, film screenings, and music sessions at a range of venues like Aspinwall House, Pepper House, David Hall, and Durbar Hall in Fort Kochi and Ernakulam.

Ayana Fort Kochi is diagonally opposite Pepper House and a bare 400 mts away from Aspinwall House, both leading venues for the Biennale. You can get the complete list of participating artists here.
